전 세계 청소년 문제를 해결하기 위해 설립된 세계 최초의 정부 간 국제교류의 장, 세계청소년부 장관 포럼이 제10회를 맞이하며 7월 7일 부산 누리마루 에이펙하우스에서 개최됐습니다.
얼마 전 미국 의사협회에서는 팬데믹 동안 성인보다 청소년의 자살률이 더욱 증가했다는 통계 논문이 발표됐습니다.

국내에서도 자살률 자체는 줄었지만 오히려 20대 자살률은 10%가량 늘었습니다.
이렇게 각국 정부에게 새로운 고민을 안겨준 청소년 문제, 이번 포럼은 청소년 문제와 그 해결 방안이라는 주제로 사고력과 교류 자제력으로 각 파트를 나눠 25개국 26명의 장.차관 및 관련 부처 인사들이 발표를 진행했습니다.

사고력과 교류 자제력의 중요성과 더불어 그것이 부족할 때 일어나는 문제와 그를 해결할 수 있는 실질적인 방안을 모색하고, 그것이 개인의 삶과 사회에 미칠 영향 등을 주제로 발표가 이어졌습니다.

이날 이수성 전 국무총리, 요나 메츠거 이스라엘 대라비가 축사를 전했습니다.
이 시대 청소년들의 변화와 더 나은 미래를 모색하기 위해 모인 이번 포럼을 축하하고, 부디 서로 힘을 모아 청소년들을 위해 더욱 좋은 세상을 만들길 바란다는 마음을 전했습니다.

오전 9시부터 진행된 발표, 장차관들은 폭력과 중독 범죄 및 미성년 임신과 교육 시스템 이탈 성병 자살 등 자국의 청소년들이 겪는 수많은 문제의 대표 사례를 분석하며, 그 원인을 청소년들의 사고력과 자제력 교류의 부족에서 찾았습니다.
빠르게 급변하는 사회에서 청소년들이 자라며 직면하는 가정폭력이나 가난 전쟁 등의 환경적인 문제와 더불어 마약과 알코올 중독 성관계 등 다양한 사회적 문제들이 충분한 사고력과 강한 자제력 그리고 넓고 다양한 교류를 통해 극복할 수 있다고 입을 모았습니다.

그리고 이것은 비단 청소년만의 문제가 아니라 지역사회와 한 국가 나아가 전 세계와 미래에 큰 영향을 미치는 문제이기에 각국에서 다양한 프로그램을 만들어 이를 타개하고자 노력하지만 부족한 부분이 존재한다는 것, 그리고 그것을 IYF의 마인드 교육이 채워줄 수 있다는 데 의견을 모았습니다.

실제로 케냐와 같은 몇몇 국가에서는 현재 진행 중인 마인드 교육의 현황과 그 성과를 사례로 제시했습니다.

장.차관 26명의 발표가 모두 끝난 후, 그라시아스 합창단의 축하 공연이 진지했던 분위기를 한층 부드럽게 풀어줬습니다.
특히 소프라노 이수연과 바리톤 신지역이 선사한 중남미와 아프리카 찬송가 무대는 장차관들에게 모국어 노래로 반가움을 더했습니다.

그리고 이어진 IYF 설립자 박옥수 목사의 강연, 박 목사는 현재 전 세계 청소년들을 변화시키고 있는 마인드 교육을 성경 속에서 발견했다며, IYF를 설립하고 마인드 교육을 시작하게 된 계기를 설명했습니다.
그리고 월드캠프를 통해 마인드 교육을 받은 청소년들은 세계 최고의 청소년이 된다면서 이곳에 뜻을 함께 해준 장.차관들에게 감사하며 청소년들이 행복해지길 바란다고 강연을 마무리했습니다.

제10회 세계청소년부 장관 포럼에는 이번에 동시에 진행된 대학생 리더스 컨퍼런스에 참가한 전 세계 대학생들이 참관했습니다.
이들은 지난 5일 리더스 컨퍼런스에서 장차관들과 만나 각국의 청소년 이슈를 해결하기 위한 기획 프로젝트의 조언을 얻기도 했습니다.

“네 이번에 장관 포럼을 통해서 이제 각국의 많은 장관분들이 참석을 하셨는데 이제 거기서 마인드 교육의 중요성을 특히 강조를 해 주시는 연설을 많이 하셨습니다.
그런데 이번에 리더스 컨퍼런스를 통해서 저희들이 프로젝트를 기획하면서 또 깊은 사고를 할 수가 있었는데요, 장관분들께서 강조하셨던 그런 깊은 사고를 저희들이 리더스 컨퍼런스 프로젝트 기획을 통해서 적용시킬 수 있어서 굉장히 좋은 기회가 되었다고 생각을 하고요, 그리고 장관분들께서 연설하시는 모습을 보고 또 박옥수 목사님께서 강조하셨던 그 깊은 사고를 하는 능력이 얼마나 중요한지 다시 깨달을 수 있어서 또 한편으로는 감사한 시간이 되었습니다.”

장.차관들은 IYF를 통해 청소년 문제를 속시원히 터놓고, 세계 각국과 교류할 수 있는 플랫폼이 마련된 것에도 매우 기뻐했습니다.

이번 제10회 세계청소년부 장관 포럼은 전 세계 청소년들이 처한 문제를 적극적으로 해결하고, 나아가 세계에서 가장 행복한 청소년을 육성하고자 하는 세계 각국 정부의 진심을 느낄 수 있었던 시간이었습니다.

The World Youth Ministers' Forum, the world's first forum for international exchange between governments established to solve youth problems around the world, was held on July 7th at Nurimaru Apec House, Busan, to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Recently, the American Medical Association published a statistical paper that found that suicide rates among adolescents were higher than adults during the pandemic.

Although the suicide rate itself decreased in Korea, the suicide rate in their 20s increased by about 10%.

In this forum, under the theme of youth problems and their solutions, the youth problem, which gave new concerns to governments in each country, was divided into parts by thinking ability and exchange restraint, and 26 ministers and vice ministers and related ministries from 25 countries gave presentations.

 

In addition to the importance of thinking ability and self-discipline in communication, the problems that arise when they are lacking and practical ways to solve them were sought, and the presentations continued on topics such as the impact that it will have on individuals' lives and society.

On this day, former Prime Minister Lee Su-seong and Israeli counterpart Jonah Metzger delivered congratulatory remarks.

We congratulated this forum, which came together to search for changes and a better future for the youth of this age, and expressed our hope that we would all work together to create a better world for the youth.

 

In the presentation held at 9 am, the ministers analyzed representative cases of numerous problems faced by youth in their country, such as violence and addiction crimes, underage pregnancy and sexually transmitted suicide, etc. I did.

They agreed that environmental problems such as domestic violence and poverty warfare, as well as environmental problems such as domestic violence and poverty war, that young people face while growing up in a rapidly changing society, as well as various social problems such as drug and alcohol addiction, can be overcome through sufficient thinking ability, strong self-control, and wide variety of exchanges.

Then, following the lecture by Pastor Ock Soo Park, the founder of IYF, Pastor Park said that he found mind education in the Bible that is currently changing youth around the world, and explained the reason for establishing IYF and starting mind education.

 

And the youth who received mind education through the World Camp said they would become the best youth in the world, and thanked the Ministers and Vice Ministers for sharing their will here, and he concluded the lecture by saying that he hopes that the youth will be happy.

 

The 10th World Youth Ministers' Forum was attended by university students from all over the world who participated in the University Student Leaders Conference held at the same time.

They met with ministers at the Leaders' Conference on the 5th and received advice on planning projects to solve youth issues in each country.
