The University student on-line broadcasting system Uni-bro can play at the 2017 Taipei Universiade.
Ju-Yeo-Bang who is a Taipei Deputy Mayor arrived in Gwang-Ju on 3rd July to attend the Gwang-Ju Universiade opening ceremony and promote Taipei which is the next venue of the Universiade. She visited the Uni-Bro station then, had a meeting with Jung-Chul chief editor and sent an invitation message.
Ju-Yeo-Bang Deputy Mayor said, “I am really impressed that college students gather around the world to announce the Universiade news.” and “I hope uni-bro could enter at next 2017 universiade in Taipei with Taiwan university students for promote the Universiade to the world.”
Jung Chul the chief editor of Unibro said “originally, we’ve made a plan to run uni-bro with students of Chinese Culture University in this universiade, but that was not connected, so it’s a thousand pities.”, and he said “However, we expect to join forces with Taiwan students in the 2017 Taipei Universiade, then we are going to show our know-how broadcasting skills even more than now”
It’s the first time ever for the world university lte line broadcasting system ‘Uni-bro’ and is composed of media news center students from Honam University, University of Utah, Shandoong University, Ewha Womans University, Hanyang University, University of Ulsan and Chonnam National University with about 60 students. They’re going to broadcast about various sites and points of view in GwangJu Universiade during the competition(July 3 ~ July14).
