The coronavirus pandemic caused a halt to large events worldwide, so an international organization the ASEAN-Korea Center has switched their offline forum event to online platform to continue collaborate and network with ASEAN member States. The ASEAN-Korea Center is an intergovernmental organization mandated to promote economic and socio-cultural cooperation between the ASEAN member States and Korea.
Comma Entertainment Co., Ltd. was selected as a production company to conduct online contests and forums that were originally planned as offline events this year. The high credit was given to Comma Entertainment and selected due to having all necessary networks and portfolios within all ASEAN member states(Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippine, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam).
Comma Entertainment is supervising the production of online platform videos for the ASEAN-Korea Excellent Design Exhibition Award (design competition), ASEAN Contents Showcase (animation competition), and ASEAN Connectivity forum, the three major events of the ASEAN-Korea Center. The ASEAN-Korea Excellent Design Exhibition Award is the competing program which that held for the first time in this year, and the ASEAN Connectivity Forum is in the 8th year to promote Smart City development with the Korea Construction Association.
